David Freed, President
David has held various senior management positions in the medical laboratory, printing, transportation, manufacturing and retail sales industries. He has uniquely coupled his IT technical skills to his strong customer service attributes in forming AMS International. This has allowed AMS to design and deliver rock solid systems to customers from coast to coast; many have been with him for 20-25 years. He earned his BS degree in Math, Physics and Systems Engineering from the University of Arizona.
Maria Freed, Vice-President
Maria has held various management positions in healthcare organizations in need of her operational and business development skills. Her extensive experience has taken her to 21 countries and most of the United States, where she has represented for-profit and non-profit hospitals, private healthcare companies, and performed consulting work for global insurance and industry associations, among them: University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, CyberKnife Centers of Miami and Palm Beach, HealthSouth Corporation, Amadex/US Medical, and the International Radiosurgery Association.
She has extensive experience in the execution and management of marketing campaigns, including media relations, newsletters, B2B plans, e-commerce, and physician sales. She has managed highly successful sales teams in the United States, the Caribbean and Latin America and recognizes the value of developing strategic relationships in our challenging medical industry.
Maria earned a bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in Finance and Marketing and a Master of Health Services Administration from Florida International University. She actively supports and serves numerous patient and healthcare organizations, most notably the Wellness Community, the Facial Pain Association, Organization of Women in International Trade and Chairs the Benchmark Committee for the Society of Radiation Oncology Administrators.
